Event Description

The Great Holiday Toy Shoppe is a holiday-themed game where players run rival toy shoppes, racing to stock the best selection for the holiday season.

The event starts with a brief introduction video that sets the scene and kicks off the festivities. After the video, the host will walk players through the first round and teach the game.

Each round, players rate the toys up for order, sharing what they like (or don't) before deciding what each one is really worth. Then, working individually, players propose their own order. No consulting your team yet. Once everyone's proposal is in, teams huddle up to build consensus around a single order for the shoppe. Stock up on name-brand favorites to pull in bigger crowds of shoppers, or fill the shelves with off-brand finds to keep costs down. Every toy is a bet on how many customers it'll bring through the door, so choose wisely.

The game is played over a series of rounds. After the final round, the shoppe with the best toy collection wins, provided they haven't spent more than any other shoppe. Spend the most, and your shoppe goes on the Naughty List instead.
